Taking place over eight days and seven nights, from July 31st - August 6th 2027, this retreat is for anyone who wants to take a big step back from everyday life and really immerse themselves in a magical week of writing, resting and recharging in the beautiful Spanish countryside. All writing sessions are led by twice published author and writing coach, Hazel Hayes, who will guide you through a process of healing through writing, reconnecting to your creativity, and befriending the blank page.
We will also be lucky enough to experience the a total solar eclipse on August 2nd, a rare celestial event that will be made all the more special when witnessed from Suryalila’s perfect position looking east across the mountains.
Writers of all levels, mediums and backgrounds are welcome!

A member of the team will get back to you and let you know if your preferred room type is available. If it is, we’ll send you details on how to pay the deposit and book your spot!
All prices are per person and rooms are single occupancy unless otherwise stated. If you’d like to hear about dual occupancy rates, if you’d like to set up a payment plan, or if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you book now, we’ll take 10% off the price listed as part of our special Early Bird Offer.
Prices are all inclusive however they do not cover travel. Airport transfers can be booked in advance through a partner company. Details about transfers, nearest airports and other travel information can be found on Suryalila’s website here.
Once you have paid your £300 non refundable deposit, we’ll be in touch with confirmation and a welcome pack, including details on how and when to pay the balance. Payment plans are available. Or you can also pay in full up front if you wish.
